Updating RaceRoom Content - Guide for Users

    Who is this for?
    If you are a new user or have recently purchased some RaceRoom content then you might see a message saying you do not have the car or track needed when trying to register for a race. This guide shows you how to update and synchronise your RaceRoom content with the JustRace portal.

    RaceRoom Free Content Periods
    Occasionally Sector 3 / RaceRoom run Free Content Periods where all content can be used even if you do not own it. During this period you need to follow the steps below PAYING PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO ITEM 3!

    Make sure you UNTICK the box in item 3 at the end of the free content period.

    Updating / Synchronising RaceRoom Content
    1. On the JustRace portal click the profile icon:
    2. Make sure your RaceRoom username is correct (this MUST be your RaceRoom username NOT your name - How to find your RaceRoom username) and then click the "Refresh Purchased Content button.
    3. After clicking the refresh button the following message will be displayed.
      If Sector3 / RaceRoom are running a "Free Content" period where you can race any car or track be sure to check the tick box BEFORE clicking "OK"
    4. If everything is successful then you will see a "Content has been downloaded successfully" message. Click "OK".

    5. You will now be able to register for events providing you have the required content.
