Changing Dedicated Server Ports or Increasing Server Count - A Guide for Admins

Who is this for?
For server administrators that wish to customise the ports or increase the maximum number of concurrent servers they support. This is an advanced guide.

The intention is to bring the port configuration within the JustRace Server Manager GUI in the future.

Changing Existing Ports

1. Navigate to the JustRace Server Manager installation folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Justrace Server Manager\bin\release)
2. Find the "GamePortSettings.json" file and open it in a text editor. We recommend notepad++
3. Locate the game you wish to change the ports for in the JSON file you can search for the following strings:
   ReizaServerPorts (Automobilista)
   AssettoServerPorts (Assetto Corsa)
4. Adjust the ports as required
   Note:
   You may need to adjust the game dedicated server files to match and check the ports are allowed through your firewall.

Increasing Concurrent Servers Limit

1. Navigate to the JustRace Server Manager installation folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Justrace Server Manager\bin\release)
2. Find the "GamePortSettings.json" file and open it in a text editor. We recommend notepad++
3. Search for the following string:
   AvailableServerSlots
4. Adjust the permitted server count as you require
   
5. Locate the game you wish to change the ports for in the JSON file you can search for the following strings:
   ReizaServerPorts (Automobilista)
   AssettoServerPorts (Assetto Corsa)
6. Add additional port entries so that the count matches what you selected in item 4.
   Note:
   You may need to adjust the game dedicated server files to match and check the ports are allowed through your firewall.
